Mr. Pierce has an extensive background in real estate and in the legal field. He earned a law degree from the New England School of Law and has worked in both the private practice of law and in the public sector for seventeen years. Much of his work in the real estate arena has focused on due diligence and title examination issues for both consumers and real estate developers.
While in the public sector, he served as the Legal Counsel for the Massachusetts Historical Commission and often interacted with the office of the Massachusetts Attorney General on matters of joint concern. He has been a licensed Real Estate broker in Massachusetts since 1980 and was appointed to the Zoning Board of Appeals in Wakefield, Massachusetts in 2001 and has served as its Chairman since 2002.
